6/27/2008 - Art, Art, Art, and Atavism
Got a new featured comic for ya. Atavism, one kick-ass comic, has recently come to an end. So again, a whole story's worth of pages for you to read. This webcomic is about mercenaries, assassins, and weird science on the surface but really seems to be more about the horrible nature of humanity in general. A good mix of action, drama, and dark dark humor in a pleasantly contrasting cartoony style. Highly recommended. One of my favorite webcomics of all time. New art too, yo! I commissioned Soap Committee to draw Fall going nuts for a project that's in the works. Have to say I love the result. And Michael McCluskey of Lunar and Kirk strikes again with a hilarious piece about te games of the gods. Check 'em out. Just a reminder, I'm selling commissions again, in an attempt to buy a new computer. Fairly cheap prices ranging anywhere from $3 for a quick portrait to $20 for a full detail full color figure. 6/20/2008 - The Bestiary
The Bestiary, a guide to the Nightmare races of Parallel Dementia is up! Very wordy, but made for the completionists. new vote incentive, too. Oodles of doodles. 6/19/2008 - Computer Error
Today's page was eaten by gremlins before it was completed. By which I mean that my computer overheated, crashed, and corrupted the file I was working on, destroying all progress and chance of recovery. I think I'll just try and make Monday's page longer than normal to make up for this. Moving has me tired out. Sorry about all these delays. 6/17/2008 - Moving!
Sorry sorry sorry. This should be the last page skipped for a while. Moving stuff into a new apartment. No page Wednesday. Arg. 6/13/2008 - Motivation
Sorry guys, no page today. I'm just not motivated. Probably because the term recently ended and I need a little time to do nothing whatsoever. This page doesn't have to be skipped though, like the two I had to skip during finals, so I'll add another page to the donation bar so I can make up for this.
6/10/2008 - Back in Business
My apologies for the recent down time. In addition to finals week I had to get ready to move. Most of that work is over now and things should be back on track (though it's possible next Friday's update will be late, as I have to travel on Thursday). With this freed up time I hope to get some features on the site running, including finishing the bios and info pages. Additionally I'm offering commissions again, and the Milk in the Pantry main site has been overhauled, becoming a lot more functional. And purtty lookin'. A new vote incentive is up. This is a render from one of my main projects this last term – the Uni-Corp tower. The only video I have of it is too high-res for YouTube so I'll try and make a smaller version and get that up in the next day or two. Time for a new comic spotlight! Indefensible Positions was one of the first webcomics I ever read on Comic Genesis and had a major impact on PD. This comic came to a full conclusion almost a year ago, so there's a whole archive of story for you to check out. While a tad surreal, Indefensible Positions has plenty of action and plot, centering around a world in which strong belief creates reality and demons battle for supremacy in man's thoughts. Give it a go. |
