The links page has been overhauled with a new look and a few added comics, including modern fantasies Cat Legend and Blip.

And a notice to a reader who has recently donated $3. I can't seem to respond to your email with the desktops I owe you (or simply with text, for that matter). If you can give me some other place to send them (forum account, DA, etc) please do.

Too much work has piled up. Gonna skip tomorrow's page. In the meantime, why not check out this tournament comic I did? Or U.F.O., a funky alien comic wih funky aliens. And girls. Funky girls? Maybe. Maybe.
AND SPEAKING OF GIRLS. Two of them made fan art of Fall. The first is from CJ and is NAKED! The second is from NJ and has a lot more cloths but also blood!

11/04/2008 - Call for Voice Actors!

Parallel Dementia is nearing its 500th page and 3rd year anniversary. I have something special in mind for celebration, and need to put out the call for voice talent.

As is, I need voices for Alexi, Miyan, and Icar. It's possible I'll need more as I revise the script but these three are most certainly needed.

If you have a microphone or access to one, and feel you're up for the task, please read on for further information on the voices and how to audition. I can't pay my voice actors, but will credit them and ,should they have sites, link them. None of the voice roles are too huge. Just a few sentences to a paragraph or two of dialog.

Russel Icar

Icar is a smug, magnificent bastard of a man. His voice is rather middle of the range, not too high or low, and he has a tendency to emphasize words. You know that rich person's accent that's not QUITE British but is close? That's Icar.

Alexandra Ivanova

Alexi's voice might be a challenge. She's a 30 year old woman with a Russian accent. Her voice isn't overly masculine, but strong - maybe a little dry thanks to the smoking. It's up to the the voice actress how far they wish to go with the accent, but being intelligible and realistic is preferable to forced.

Miyan the Serpent

Miyan has a high-pitched but venom-laced voice. When I try and picture her voice I think of Tatu.

Note that Miyan's a demon and her voice sounds somewhat supernatural, like reverberating or somethin'. If those auditioning feel they can add this effect themselves, go for it. If not, I can use software to demon it up.
